Main Shop Service Advisor $3000 SIGNING BONUS. $1500 AFTER 90 DAYS AND $1500 AFTER 180 DAYS. We are looking for someone with the ability to build strong customer relationships and work well with both the customers and the technicians.   Responsibilities for an Automotive Service Advisor include but are not limited to: * Greeting customers and writing up repair orders * Communicating effectively via the telephone * Coordinating customer’s alternate transportation * Scheduling service appointments * Perform vehicle walk around and documentation of customer concerns to enable the Technician to properly diagnose and service the vehicle. * Document declines for services and ask for follow-up on future service considerations. * Following up with customers * Cashiering * Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes. * Communicate and coordinate with other service writers * Remain involved with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to assure all customer concerns can be addressed. * Making sure that the customer has a great overall experience in our service department Education for an Automotive Service Advisor: * Minimum of high school degree or equivalent preferred. Requirements for an Automotive Service Advisor include but are not limited to: * Must have computer proficiency (fast typing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc) * Excellent communication skills * Must be friendly and well organized. * Must work well with others in a team setting * Must possess ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay organized * Keep customers informed on completion times, costs and any possible changes * Bending, stretching, standing and reaching. * Lifting up to 50 lbs. * Using computers to look up and enter data. * Must have a good driver’s license and a driving record that meets our insurance standards * Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (Background and Drug)
