Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd Shift Available

Status available: Full-time

Position Purpose

Provides a clean and safe work environment for patients, visitors, hospital staff and self. Cleans patient care, public, clinical, and office areas using chemicals and manual/electrical floor care equipment.

Minimum Qualifications :

· High School diploma or GED not required.

· Ability to treat each patient, visitor, and employee in a courteous and compassionate manner.

· Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions, receive and understand directions. Ability to adjust to changing conditions and varied workloads.

· Preferred: Customer service training or environmental services experience in hotel, recreation, or healthcare housekeeping industry

What you will do :

· Disinfects patient treatment, invasive care areas, staff and visitor areas to maximize infection prevention, enhance patient safety, ensure EOC compliance and enhance the visual appeal and perception of cleanliness of assigned areas in accordance with established policies and procedures.

· Performs duties in compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements.

· Maintains the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patients, physicians, colleagues and visitors.

· Maintains knowledge of chemicals used for cleaning and disinfecting (on-the-job training provided).
