Job Description: Our job is to enable our clients to stay in their homes by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) which include: personal care (bathing, dressing, peri-care assistance, incontinence care, showers, transfers, mobility support), Meal preparation, Medication reminders, and Light Housekeeping Additionally we provide transportation for shopping, and doctor appointments We monitor and record factual, observational notes of our clients' conditions or changes in their mental/physical baseline and behaviors

Job Duties:

  • Companionship
  • Medication Reminders
  • Personal Care
  • Transportation for errands/appointments
  • Support Home Health, including Hospice palliative/comfort care
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Mobility Assistance
  • Take accurate, observational, daily notes, of client's activities and baseline conditions

Benefits:

  • $19/hr to start
  • $525/day for Live-in 24-hour care
  • Additional $1.50/hr for weekend shift coverage
  • Urgent coverage incentives                                    
  • 7 holidays, time and a half paid, if worked
  • On the Job Training, with assistance through courses, to obtain a Washington State Certification, HCA (Home Care Aid)
  • Mileage reimbursement for transportation of client when using own vehicle ($.75/mile)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Dependability with an Ownership outlook and attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must have availability for one weekend a month
  • Open, flexible shifts available: Day shift, Night Shifts, Overnight Shifts, 24hr Live-in
  • Earn extra points towards Caregiver of the Month as well as potential, additional incentives by taking on urgent shifts coverage
