We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Rolling Stock Maintenance team.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Coordinate the maintenance concept and strategy, ensuring vehicle performance and safety operation of a railway fleet.

  • Ensure the compliance within schedules, service levels and budget among the projects.

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and promoting maintenance optimization.

  • Failure analysis and provide support on Troubleshooting.

  • Asset management and repairing.

  • Risk management.

  • Manage the relationship with costumers and all stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

  • Create and manage technical documentation, with periodic reviews and updates.

  • Manage and coordinate CMMS operations, ensuring data quality.

  • Contribute to develop and improve logistic concept.

  • Prepare the periodic reporting activity, identifying improvement opportunities and acting in problem solving.

  • Participate in RCM and LCC activities and reporting.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Technical Skills

  • Master’s degree in engineering is preferred. (Electrical and Computer, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar).

  • Maintenance Engineer experience (5+ years of professional experience)

  • Experience working within a Depot environment.

  • Railway technical knowledge and legal awareness.

  • Experience in Railway activities is essential.

  • Experience with Excel or similar.

  • Experience with FMEA and safety at work.

  • Knowledge in AutoCAD or 3D drawings is a plus.

  • Knowledge in SAP is a plus.

Personal Characteristics

  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently to deliver consistent results.

  • Solid organisational skills, including multi-tasking and time management.

  • Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.

  • Good communication in English, knowledge of Spanish is valued.
