HMT Tank TIG Welder (Night Shift) in Allentown, Pennsylvania

HMT LLC / Allentech, specializing in aluminum internal floating roof and perimeter seal systems for above ground storage tanks, is seeking candidates for the following position.

TIG WELDER - Allentown, PA

Specialized aluminum fabrication shop accepting applications for full time welding positions on both day and night shifts. Preferred candidates will have experience welding Aluminum, but the company will train motivated individuals with experience or training welding other metals. ALLENTECH offers a team-oriented work environment. Night Shift is from 10:00pm to 6:00pm (8-hour shift) or 8:00pm to 6:00am (10-hour shift)

Duties/Responsibilities/Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in TIG Welding

  • Ability to read blueprints and read tape measure.

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs.

  • Work in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Comply with all HMT quality and safety policies and programs.

  • Applicants are subject to new hire and random drug & alcohol testing.

  • Must be reliable, dependable and responsible.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, climb, carry, pushing/pulling and use repetitive wrist and hand movements. The employee may be required to lift and/or move objects of up to 50 pounds. Hearing and seeing ability of rapid mental coordination. It is required to be mentally alert for the entire regular shift.
