Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our finance department and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting future financial performance, and providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis of company performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability trends.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and financial statement preparation.

  • Develop financial models to forecast future revenues, expenses, and cash flows.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into financial trends and performance drivers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and board meetings.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities and perform ROI analysis for new projects and initiatives.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the telecommunications industry.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function.

  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst in the telecommunications industry or related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry dynamics, market trends, and regulatory environment preferred.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.

    Benefits and Compensation:

    FirstLight offers a competitive benefits package including a comprehensive medical benefits, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, 401(k) and flexible work arrangements.

    Estimated base annual salary is anticipated to be between $65,000 and $90,000. Pay ranges represent a good faith annual estimate at the time of the job posting. Actual pay will be based on multiple factors including experience, skill sets, location, internal equity, and market rates.
