The Cary Company Receptionist (Part-Time) in Addison, Illinois

The Cary Company is seeking an ambitious, energetic individual to support our Addison, IL office as a receptionist. This position is perfect for those who thrive on providing world-class customer service. We have a positive and optimistic culture, and are looking to hire this type of person.  We are looking for an individual who enjoys day-to-day interactions with new people and exhibits a friendly demeanor toward fellow staff members and customers.

We are looking for someone to work M-F, with a start time between 8am-9:30am and end time between 2-5pm. With minimum of 25 hours worked each week with an opportunity for up to 40 hours interested.

What you will be doing:

  • Answer the phone in a professional, pleasant matter and route calls accordingly

  • Greet guests in a welcoming manner

  • Sort and distribute mail

  • Provide administrative assistance and support

  • Taking on new responsibilities as they are assigned

  • Maintaining visitor security procedures (guest logs, visitor badges, etc.)

    What you need to be successful:

  • Positive attitude with a friendly disposition and customer-centric mindset

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

  • 1-2 years Entry Level Office Experience

  • Ability to follow directions and assignments

  • A passion for delivering excellent service

  • A clear and confident telephone manner

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent Organizational Skills

  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus
