CACI is seeking a cleared Project Specialist to work for our U.S. Army program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Coordinate with the Major Commands and their subordinate units to develop a fielding schedule that meets the goals of the program while supporting the unit’s availability

  • Plan, develop, and execute the most effective and efficient methods to provide logistical and program support for fielding and upgrading systems

  • Participate in establishing short and long term objectives to sustain systems throughout their lifecycle from conceptual stage through the de-fielding of systems, consistent with organizational strategy

  • Develop and maintain project schedules in MS Project and MS Excel

  • Coordinate with fielding team leads to develop efficient project schedules based on resourcing structure, unit availability, and designated priority

  • Interacts with project team and task managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from original plan

  • Evaluates project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas

  • Analyzes critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around

  • Develops and updates weekly short interval schedules working with project managers, engineers, and other Government stakeholders

  • Briefs Govt Customer and Program Management on Program Schedule

  • Routinely monitors and provides awareness of schedule milestones deliverables for all project phases

  • Assists to set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project contract requirements as scheduled

  • Interacts with customer and project staff to schedule work and coordinate assignments

  • Provides direct support to DPM and PM as needed for additional support tasks

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • An active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • A minimum of three years of experience planning, developing, and executing logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of a product in the DoD environment. Demonstrate excellent technical expertise, be highly self-directed and motivated, and collaborate respectfully with teammates, always keeping user mission first

  • Experience providing executive-level communications to senior leadership

  • Proficient in MS Project and MS Excel
