SOS International LLC Child Wellbeing Lead Specialist in Yuma, Arizona

Overview

SOSi is actively seeking a Child Well-Being Lead Specialist (Spanish Bilingual) to join us supporting our customer across several regional border Sectors including San Diego and El Centro, California; Yuma and Tucson, Arizona; and Big Bend, Laredo, El Paso, Del Rio, and Rio Grande Valley, Texas. This position is contingent upon contract award, one Lead Specialist per sector. The Child Well-Being Lead Specialist will be responsible for performing managerial and supervisory responsibilities overseeing Child Wellbeing (CWB) Specialists in the field within each sector, ensuring performance standards are met and maintained. The Lead Specialist reports to the SOSi program manager and the stakeholders in the field.

Essential Job Duties

· Support PMO post-award for program ramp-up, including SOP development.

· Advise Leadership on child well-being, attend meetings, and communicate program info.

· Manage Specialists, rotate through locations, and oversee field operations.

· Coordinate staffing, facilitate special cases, and deploy surge support as needed.

· Conduct training, performance reviews, and handle HR for Specialists.

· Interpret policy requirements, collaborate on resource implementation, and advocate for program needs.

· Develop program plans, propose enhancements, and ensure alignment with operational goals.

· Analyze data, report on metrics, and respond to information requests from stakeholders.

· Provide collaborative support for government initiatives and events.

· Regularly report on support efforts and key tasks to program leadership.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

· Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in behavioral health.

· Hold a full, current, and unrestricted license in one of the following or equivalent within the state(s) that they will be deployed within: Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Doctor level prepared psychologists (LP).

· 5+ years working experience post-full licensure in child development, culturally aware and trauma-centered care, and performing clinical evaluations in direct engagement with children and their families.

· Experience in an immigration setting strongly preferred.

· Must be Spanish bilingual - To qualify as bilingual (speaking, listening, reading, writing), Contractor employees must have a minimum score of 3/5 on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale or an equivalent of “High” on Private LTI.

· 2+ years management experience leading and supervising staff.

· Ability to operate in a dynamic environment within a developing new program.

Work Environment

· Work in a fast-paced environment and remain emotionally controlled.

· Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

· Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365. Inside and outside, all weather conditions.

· Travel regionally throughout the U.S. as needed.
