Overview

SOSi is seeking an Area Maintenance & Supply Facility – Europe (AMSF-E) Manager to effectively manage the operations and repair of command/theatre level communications equipment and systems. This position is based on Wackernheim, Germany. This is a TESA position.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assist in defining contract maintenance requirements, organizing resources, and managing the maintenance planning cycle at the worksites to meet the mission objectives.

  • Oversee day to day operations and maintenance of all equipment and systems supporting the program.

  • Establish policy and procedures for performance and control of all operations and maintenance functions.

  • Ensure qualified personnel are assigned to accomplish the maintenance mission using appropriate equipment and tools.

  • Provides required information and reports in a timely manner.

  • Supports property accountability ensuring all personnel adhere to all standards and policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • In scope DoD Top Secret Security Clearance is required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Communications Electronics.

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a USG Motor Vehicle Operators Identification Card.

  • Must be approved by the USG and Host Nation under the NATO Status of Forces Agreement.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience the operation and repair of command and theatre level US Military communication equipment and systems.

  • 5 years experience in supervisory roles of a multinational workforce.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with power systems, tie cable management, command supply discipline, property book office, Automated test Equipment, TMDE, Antenna Maintenance Activity, VTC, DODIN systems and DRSN.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites.

  • Fluency in a foreign language desired but not required.

Work Environment

  • Working environment is typical of an office setting.
