Job Title: Professional Services Consultant (Wireless)

Location: R&D Kalwa

Job Description

We are setting up a competence centre set up in Kalwa, Navi Mumbai. We are a supplier of network solutions for the industry and our target is to provide expert technical services for our customers and partners.

Responsibility:

• Performing Site surveys and analysis of clients existing network setup. Validate the performance, quality, and reliability of the RF link.

• Network Solution design (HLD/LLD) and consulting for OT customers using siemens developed wireless products for IT/OT Integration.

• Implement WLANs and other wireless networks.

• Write manuals and document current network procedures.

• Devise and support radio frequencies (RF) link performance, reliability, and quality.

• Handhold other in-house engineers to train them on wireless technologies.

Skills and Competencies (required):

• Bachelor‘s Degree/Masters‘ degree in Telecommunication or Electronics or Comp-IT.

• 5-8 years experience as wireless network engineer/consultant for larger networks.

• Working experiance with Wireless and wired solutions and tools such as Ekahau Spectrum analyzer.

• Strong foundation and in-depth technical knowledge in wireless and wired network domain.

• Have extensive knowledge of routing and switching.

• Basic project management skills essential to track milestones and validate project progress

• The ability to work effectively with internal and external clients, management, staff members, and consultants.

• Willingness to learn Automation Solutions and Network and Security standards and best practices for the Industrial environment.

• Good business communication skills.

• Willingness to travel (up to 50%)

Certificaions: wirelss certifications such as CCNA/ CCNP Wireless, Aruba, etc. are mandatory.
