Eaton Corporation Product Manager - Magnetics APAC in Shanghai, China

What you’ll do:

  • Own new product execution for ELXD Magnetics products focused on APAC computing and automotive market and assist commercial team, PMO team, R&D teams, operations and QA with global deployment of effective product line growth strategies.

  • Provide execution oversight into product portfolio expansion to maximize growth potential and market share. Build tactical plans for magnetics product line expansion from APAC region to support commercial teams globally.

  • Develop a product portfolio expansion plan that includes new products and suppliers adjacent to existing product portfolio. Portfolio expansion plan includes both internal and externally developed products as well as both APAC-targeted computing products and global product opportunities.

  • Drive new product roadmap execution and time-to market alignment with sales strategy, plans, estimates and forecasts for all sales region, especially new buy/sell magnetics products and portfolio. Ensure alignment with financial objectives and drive attainment of monthly, quarterly and annual goals.

  • Provide support to the price strategy and positioning process as well as the overall product line profitability to achieve business profitability and growth goals.

  • Provide factory & supplier liaison support for all product managers and ensure the communication between the operations and commercial teams is clear and actionable.

  • Build organization capabilities including people capability and talent pipeline in responsible functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, major in marketing or engineering

  • MBA preferred.

  • Previous sales management experience required.

  • Previous product marketing experience required; Magnetics products preferred.

  • Previous new product deployment and project management

  • Knowledge of global product industry/markets

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Takes initiative and instills confidence in peers and sales personnel.

  • Strong organization and project management skills

  • Be able to travel up to 50% of the time (within APAC region)
