The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 19 overseas stores, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.

We are scaling up Seller and employee education across the Asia region and are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Content Manager to lead our dynamic team of content developers. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, management, and optimization of content across multiple external and internal-facing education programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for maximizing content value for learners and a keen eye for detail.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Lead the planning and execution of content strategy to meet learner needs and business objectives. Analyze industry trends and adapt strategies to maximize engagement.

  2. Manage a team of four content developers. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure team cohesion and productivity.

  3. Oversee the content development roadmap and ensure timely production of high-quality content. Edit and approve content pieces, ensuring they align with standards.

  4. Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content strategies and identify areas for improvement.

  5. Work closely with product and program management, product marketing, sales, and account management teams to create cohesive and impactful content. Ensure alignment of content with knowledge about Selling on Amazon.

  6. Stay updated with the latest content trends and technologies. Propose and implement new ideas

Asia Seller Education team strives to provide world-class education program to empower Seller start and grow their business on Amazon globally. We deliver high-quality education when and where Sellers need it and drive innovation to optimize Seller experience over time. Our portfolio consists of global and local-initiated programs to fulfill Sellers’ learning preferences with Self-service learning and Instructor-led training. Our team members come from multiple industry with diverse expertise, are based in China, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, and collaborate together toward one Seller Success vision for Asia-based Sellers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in content management or related roles, with 5+ years in a leadership position.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with direct oversight of content teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.

  • Ability to analyze data and use analytics to drive content decisions, identify potential issues and initiate solutions proactively.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong portfolio of published content. A keen eye for detail to ensure the quality of project outcomes.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Outstanding communication & collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the cross-border e-commerce landscape, including regulatory, logistical, and cultural challenges of export e-commerce operations.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence others and manage relationships effectively.

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth industry environment is highly desirable.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of content trends and integrating innovative approaches into content creation.
