Amazon Sr. Account Manager, Selling Partner Developer Services in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Selling Partner Developer Services team provides a world-class Developer experience that allows Amazon and external Developers to innovate rapidly on behalf of our customers. We provide Developers inside and outside of Amazon a comprehensive API suite and a self-service onboarding experience to simplify app development. We enable Selling Partners to discover Amazon and third-party apps and services to grow their business in the Selling Partner Appstore.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Account Manager who will represent Selling Partner Developer Services to new and existing developer partners and guide them to create meaningful applications that meet the needs of Selling Partners and Amazon.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Be a business partner for new and existing developer partners, providing them with data-driven insights and advice to grow and optimize their business and innovate on behalf of our customers.

  • Work closely with developer partners, educating them about Amazon’s high standards of Customer Experience and Data Security.

  • Enable developer partners to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems so they become self-sufficient in handling our range of APIs efficiently and to the required standards.

  • Effectively prioritize and lead a pipeline of developer partners to utilize a range of APIs.

  • Track and report business development results, analyze data, interpret reports and information.

  • Build an understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and potential value that can be delivered by adoption of our APIs.

  • Seek feedback on and identify opportunities to improve our products, services, processes, systems, and tools.

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across Amazon to implement improvement projects, including working with API builder, business and product teams.

This role requires an individual with an outstanding business acumen, excellent lead and pipeline management skills and the ability to deliver results. The ideal candidate knows and loves our customers (internal and external) and will work backwards from the customer to create value.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of account or relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management experience

  • Experience using analytical, account management, and productivity tools, such as, Oracle Business Intelligence, SalesForce, Tableau, or similar

  • Experience with e-marketing and sales development in digital space

  • Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with external solution providers and ability to gain commitment from decision makers up to C-level

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Astro to manage pipeline of Accounts and Opportunities

  • Knowledge of ecommerce landscape and APIs to manage and automate selling partner business

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $182,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
