Aerotek Equipment Yard Mechanic in Seattle, Washington

Aerotek on behalf of its client are looking for Yard Equipment Mechanics for a direct hire position in Seattle WA

Pay 35 plus an hour dependent on interview and experience

Job Description:

-Services and repairs equipment and machinery, including diesel equipment and motors

-Performs regular maintenance and repair of small tools including: small engine, corded tools, hose

repair, temp power cords, etc.

-Performs clean up of the shop/work area as necessary.

-Loads and unloads tools and equipment into trucks.

-Orders and picks up service tools and supplies.

-Prepares and updates a maintenance and service schedule for all trucks, equipment, and machinery.

-Maintains service logs as required.

-Other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

small tools and heavy equipment/machinery.

-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment delivering good customer

service.

-Ability to work independently using good decision making and judgment to prioritize workload.

-Knowledge of and ability to follow safety requirements and OSHA standards.
