Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is seeking a Project Manager for an IT services project. This candidate will be responsible for reviewing IT programs on the unclassified and classified networks to assess overall compliance with IT plans and policies. Review IT programs for the five (5) phases of project management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance / monitoring, and project closure. Manage and provide oversight on assigned Enterprise, short- and long-term IT projects and ensure adequate resources are assigned and aligned with core service delivery and FOC criteria satisfaction. Provide a comprehensive project plan for all requirements/ projects to include costs and budgets, personnel, planning, quality control, direction, coordination, deliverable submissions, and reviews to ensure effective contract performance. Manage the performance and customer satisfaction associated with the delivery of Enterprise engineering solutions and the execution, monitoring and completion of Statement of Work (SOW). Provide Technical Solutions. Members of this project will support the U.S. Army Regional Network Enterprise Center JBSA at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have working knowledge and experience working with project management software to include Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Visio. Candidate will have knowledge and experience working with different project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Ability to work within the confines of a set time schedule. Have the ability to complete annual training requirements set forth by the customer.

Active Secret Security Clearance and Project Management Professional (PMP) are required for this role.

Minimum Requirements

  • Review IT programs for the unclassified and classified networks to assess overall compliance with IT plans and policies.

  • Review IT programs for the five (5) phases of project management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance / monitoring, and project closure.

  • Will manage and provide oversight on assigned Enterprise, short- and long-term IT projects and ensure adequate resources are assigned and aligned with core service delivery and FOC criteria satisfaction.

  • The Project Manager shall provide a comprehensive project plan for all requirements/ projects to include costs and budgets, personnel, planning, quality control, direction, coordination, deliverable submissions, and reviews to ensure effective contract performance.

  • Manage the performance and customer satisfaction associated with the delivery of Enterprise engineering solutions and the execution, monitoring and completion of Statement of Work (SOW).

  • Provide Technical Solutions. Submit Technical Solution for requirements 30 working days after assignment or no more than 60 working days due to the complexity. COR will determine any changes in the schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Have minimum five (5) years working experience in project management.

  • Knowledge and experience working with different project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

  • Knowledge and experience working with project management software to include Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Visio.
