The Role:

The National Technical Training Manager is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the development of our field resources and technical issues for the Service division. This position will assist with the development and the successful implementation of training programs to support the growth of our technical team and overall support offered for our commercial applied products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the relevant factories for factory technical support and product quality issues.

  • Provide technical support to field technicians.

  • Liaise with state-based warranty supervisors on all technical issues/updates.

  • Identify, document, communicate and maintain updated work instructions and procedures for Commissioning requirements.

  • Source and distribute accordingly Service bulletins relating to any commercial product range.

  • Provide feedback to branch service managers on performance issues across technical deficiencies/commissioning procedures.

  • Discuss with your peers across the South East Asia region for continual improvement opportunities about technical training development needs.

  • Project team member of the region Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) team, to improve on the design of technicians training program and manage the training program in-country (both online and in-person training)

  • Deliver necessary training packages to support the technician workforce nationally.

  • Support the implementation and development of training packages relating to the product range and HVAC field and distribute (train the trainer package).

  • Understand / Source the latest market movement for the HVAC industry and share with the larger team as means of continual knowledge sharing and market improvement training.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the HVAC field or an affiliated mechanical services industry

  • Service or Account Management experience

  • Strong Technical skills in HVAC Industry, particularly Chillers would be an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Proactive approach to problem solving

  • High level of organistional skills and follow ups
