    What the day will look like

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing claims across a range of risk classes, such as Property, Public Liability or Professional Indemnity – you need to have good experience in at least one of these risk classes

  • Collaborating with colleagues and management to ensure open communication

  • Maintaining and building relationships with insurers and the global Aon network

  • Reserving and investigating initial claims

  • Timely lodgment of claims

  • Providing advice to clients with respect to claim mitigation and claim management

  • Providing effective presentations to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Managing the claim lifecycle from notification through to closure

  • Developing strong client relationships to help facilitate successful outcomes for clients

  • Developing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships including service providers, brokers and underwriters

    How this opportunity is different

    We are inviting experienced Legal professionals OR Insurance Claims Consultants to apply for a role within our experienced claims team, supporting a portfolio of global and corporate clients . We currently have permanent and contract opportunities available.

    The successful person within this team will provide clients full claims management support from start to finish, in an advisory role.

    This individual will take on the responsibility of being a subject matter expert to the client and Aon’s wider company, offering training and support to colleagues.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • At least 2 years legal background OR 3 - 4 years working as a Claims Consulting at an Insurer

  • Experience taking on additional role responsibilities with the ability to take on senior tasks

  • A strong customer service focus

  • Strong prioritization and time management skills

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders

  • Outcome focused – able to overcome obstacles and deliver designated outcomes
