Job Brief To oversee the loading and unloading of all raw materials and full goods from and to the North Mankato plant. JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.Ability to perform duties with limited supervision.Work together as a team play to coordinate departmental activities with the Warehouse Manager and hourly employees. 2.Problem solving abilities to ensure staffing issues are dealt with in a timely manner related to production or shipping.Direct staff to proper load patterns, communicate one a daily basis via phone and email, complete required paperwork. 3.Oversee that raw materials and full goods are placed in their proper locations, both inside and outside of the facility.Follow proper rotation procedures. 4.Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in all areas of loading, unloading and forklift duties on the production lines and in the layer picking area.Offer shipping coordinator assistance and back up position. 5.Ensure compliance with all personal and product safety, HACCP, housekeeping, GMPs, and organizational policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to pass forklift certification course. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Requires basic math and communication skills. Must have computer skills. Must be able to supervise and direct people to do their assigned work.
