JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Arrive 5 minutes before start of shift in order to communicate with previous shift - Read activity board for scheduled color changes, conversions, and set-ups - Create, label, and number boxes - Read shop order for product requirements and verify box label matches product - Answer bells, check for stuck parts, and use process monitor on press - Clean machines after completing production activities and to maintain efficiency - When necessary, operate emergency stops on closing machines, grinders, auxiliary equipment and understand lock out/tag out procedure - Operate and maintain all types of manufacturing equipment; at times operate several machines at once to relieve for breaks/lunch - Examine and discard defective goods and packaging components; rummage through product to look for gross defects - Monitor the machine operations to see that the finished product and components are adequately matching the quality and quantity constraints - Support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies/procedures - Communicate any gross defects to the technical team and communicate any problems or issues with the other team members ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Lift up to 30lbs throughout shift - Good hand eye coordination, excellent dexterity, and demonstrated mechanical aptitudes - Ability to distinguish colors - Stand, sit, bend, and twist the entire shift - Good written and verbal communication skills in English - Work effectively in a team and communicate with others - Ability to perform mathematical averages and understand decimals - Must wear steel toed boots and will be provided with safety glasses and ear plugs - Adhere to dress code ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: elkhornpcs@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://www.qpsemployment.com/job-seekers/search-results/details/job/733020 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
