VectorCSP Aircrew/Aircraft Scheduling Operations and Scheduling Coordinator (Journeyman) in Lexington Park, Maryland

Job Summary:

Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL) provides flight test engineering, programmatic, and administrative support to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and is the cognizant authority for Test and Evaluation (T&E) with participation in all phases of the air weapon systems life cycle management for manned and unmanned fixed wing, rotary wing, aerial and lighter-than-air vehicles. This position is specific to the H-60 platform.

Education and Experience:

  • HS Degree or GED equivalent

  • 3 to 10 years of aircraft/aircrew scheduling is required (a bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of work experience)

    Essential Duties:

  • Daily aircraft status reporting

  • Air refueling flight scheduling

  • Administrative support

  • Squadron aircraft scheduling

  • Liaison with operating activities

    Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Secret security clearance

  • Well versed in oral and written forms of communication. Electronic Key Management System and COMSEC Material System (EKMS/CMS) qualified.

  • Experienced in air operations, aircrew and aircraft scheduling, data collection, flight planning and data management. Knowledgeable of aircrew functions and qualification requirements.

  • Experience managing the internal and external resources to meet flight schedule requirements.

  • Knowledgeable of government publications, messages and instructions. Should be proficient with government and commercial computer-based flight planning tools.

  • Familiarity with FIST is required

    Proficient with Flight Information Scheduling and Tracking system (FIST) for scheduling and tracking qualifications, or a comparable government and commercial computer-based flight planning tool.
