Intel Platform Validation Engineer in Kulim, Malaysia

Job Description

In this position, the candidate will have the opportunity to engage in the structural design of advanced SOC design such as ARM Cortex, Atom and IA CPU cores in leading process nodes. The responsibilities include:- Perform structural design and implementation in logic synthesis, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing and design sign-off (PV, LV and RV) in advanced process nodes.- Validate the quality of the tools, flows and methodology (TFM) and design automation solutions in the structural design area covering logic synthesis to sign-off.- Work with tools, flows and methodology (TFM) team to drive the most competitive Electronic Design Automation (EDA) solutions and methodology in advanced process nodes such as 7nm, 5nm and 3nm technology.- Drive key TFM quality improvement and assurance efforts upstream to ensure high quality TFM for Intel design projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.- Good understanding and experience with design using industry standard tools such as fusion compiler, Innovus, ICV, Calibre.- Background and experience in layout verification such as DRC and LVS.- Experience in developing design automation solutions/scripts to automate a wide variety of design tasks is a plus- Ability to work independently and work at various levels of abstraction (from concept to details)

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
