Google Business Intelligence Analyst in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience designing and implementing Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions using data integration (ETL) and visualization tools systems.

  • 5 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data, metrics, analysis, and trends.

  • Experience in working with statistical packages (e.g., R, SAS, MATLAB, stata, etc.).

  • Knowledge of measurement, statistics, and program evaluation.

  • Ability to communicate business questions, pull from large datasets (i.e., SQL), and use statistics to arrive at an answer.

  • Excellent business acumen and problem solving skills.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will provide analytics services, data curation, reporting, and data analysis/insights for our partner teams.   • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business (e.g., processes, systems, etc.), their needs, and formulate a strategy and roadmap of data-leveraged capabilities that leads to measurable improvement in business performance metrics/key performance indicators over time.

  • Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data discovery, analysis, requirements gathering, and clarification with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Design, develop, and automate Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions, iteratively build, and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale leveraging internal Google engineering tools and BI industry standard technologies including ETL, data modeling, and data visualization software.

  • Make business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, invest-divest, forecasting, impact analysis) with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
