Google Business Analyst, Youtube Trust and Safety in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, a similar quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1 year of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.

  • 1 year of experience in statistical problem-solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in project management and process optimization with data analytics.

  • Experience writing and maintaining ETLs which operate on a variety of structured and unstructured sources.

  • Experience with abuse prevention, policy, and regulatory systems.

  • Experience with delivering production level metrics, insights, and actions.

  • Familiarity with responding to high priority regulatory asks in a timely and appropriate fashion.

As a Business Analyst, you will utilize data and problem-solving techniques to define success metrics for Youtube Trust and Safety operations, measure business performance, and communicate convincing narratives to executives and the outside world. You will work with key business partners to understand data needs, write Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) scripts and collaborate closely with other internal teams. You'll help deliver on YouTube’s mission to represent everyone, show them the world, and build a community.

  • Develop, build, measure performance on operational metrics (e.g., productivity, service level agreement, quality, cost, efficiency, timeliness), and generate insights to improve the efficiency of our operations.

  • Partner with data science and strategy teams to prioritize and execute sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modeling that delivers actionable insights.
