• Develop and implement test programs and procedures for in-circuit testing of electronic circuit boards with systems like Flying Probe machines (SPEA) and ICT Multimode machines (SPEA, TRI).

• Program and configure ICT equipment and automated test systems using programming languages such as LabWindows/CVI, VB.net, Python, C/C+• Develop/Modify Programs though IDEs such as LabWindows/CVI and Visual Studio.

• Development of Adapters/Fixtures/Jigs both in-house and via external suppliers for PCBA level testing.

• Develop and Modify Boundary scan Programs with knowledge of microcontrollers and relevant circuitry.

• Conduct in-circuit tests to verify the integrity and functionality of electronic components, such as resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and connectors.

• Analyze test results to identify defects, deviations from specifications, and potential manufacturing issues.

• Troubleshoot test failures and determine root causes of failures.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize test processes and improve test coverage.

• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancement in the testing workflow.

• Implement corrective actions and process improvements based on test findings and feedback.

• Document test procedures, specifications, and results in accordance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Generate test reports summarizing findings, including pass/fail status, defect trends, and test coverage metrics.

• Communicate test results and recommendations to stakeholders and management.

• Improvement projects in PCBA testing area to improve the productivity and quality.

• Problem solving using various Quality driven tools (Six Sigma, 8D, etc.)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, or related field.

• Proficiency in programming languages and software tools used for test development (e.g., LabVIEW, VB.net, Python, C/C++).

• Knowledge on microcontrollers and its basics.

• Proven experience in in-circuit testing and electronic test engineering.

• Familiarity with in-circuit testing equipment, such as flying probe testers and bed-of-nails testers.

• Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit board design, and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge on board level programming and communication protocols (JTAG, SPI, Serial – USB and RS232, Ethernet, GPIB)

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proven team player, high on collaboration with partners.
