Training Administrative Assistant

The Barber National Institute is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant that supports the operational functions of the Training Department. This position requires a high degree of initiative and self-direction with a positive attitude in making sure that the offerings of the department are successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop weekly orientation roster
  • Develop room utilization schedule weekly
  • Complete quality review of completed orientation training to ensure trainings completed during orientation week.
  • Maintain/update content on learning management system from various vendors
  • Assist in the accurate and efficient entry of training data of employee attendance at training programs.
  • Process paper training completion documents into electronic system for storage
  • Maintain live course schedule on learning management system
  • Provide basic technical support to employees in utilizing learning management system
  • Upload training completions from electronic client records to database weekly

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
