Robert Half Billing Clerk in Denver, Colorado

Description We are searching for a diligent Billing Clerk to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for dealing with a variety of tasks related to billing functions within the telecom provider industry. Your focus will be on processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Handle and resolve customer credit inquiries

• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and track credit applications

• Work with Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Microsoft Excel, to organize and analyze data

• Understand and implement ADP - Financial Services for customer service

• Utilize IBM AS/400 in the administration of customer claims

• Manage billing functions and collection processes effectively

• Deliver high-quality customer service in all interactions. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services and IBM AS/400

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions and Billing Functions

• Knowledge of Claim Administration and Collection Processes

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively

• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification

• Professional certification in Accounting or a related field is a plus.
