Oracle’s Industries organization is expanding its Transformation and Executive Program Management Office, with the option to be remote or based in one of our various US based HUBS: Downtown Seattle, Austin, Broomfield, Santa Clara or Nashua. We are specifically looking for an Solution Architect to join the team, helping enable the use of Oracle Cloud at scale for all industries applications, reporting to the centralized Industries Transformation & PMO team (it's not your standard PMO!).
Within Oracle Industries, we strive to continually provide our customers with the high level of service and convenience they’ve come to expect in a changing world. A key part of this mission is ensuring we have optimized and scalable infrastructure — and to do that, we need a qualified and dedicated solution architect. Preferred candidates will be skilled at identifying pain points and designing or modifying technical solutions to solve company problems. The solution architect will be deeply involved in daily work across all business units, regularly interacting with both stakeholders and subject matter experts.

You will partner with every team in Oracle to make these projects happen. The space is fun, large, cross cutting and complex (truly, complex). You will manage the development and implementation process for all aspects of interdepartmental delivery, plan and direct schedules and drive progress towards the larger goal and vision. We work on true critical programs and that means support, help, partnership and alignment in the investment.

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

US: Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
