SELECTTECH SERVICES CORPORATION Real Property Building Management - Engineering Technician IV in Dayton, Ohio

Real Property Building Managers (RPBMs) shall serve as customer service representatives for their assigned buildings, with general responsibility to receive a broad range of facility-related requirements and apportion those requirements into the correct workflow for resolution depending on the scope and breadth of the issue submitted. Some RPBM duties are listed below; however, they are not all inclusive of WPAFB Pamphlet 32-1001. Some additional responsibilities beyond those described above include interfacing with other information systems, software programs, and data bases, and operation of government vehicles and equipment. Essential Functions Independently creates project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and tracks each tasks to an owner. Ensures deadlines and budgets are met. Work with Microsoft Excel software and other gov't managed information systems. Numerous accounts regarding building items need to be tracked and identified (old and new items) per current regulations. Accounts must be accurate so person must be able to check one's work for spelling, format, and overall correctness. Takes work request e-mail and phone input from customers, interfaces with property managers and Government personnel, and maintains a database of all customer interactions. Responsible for tracking, organizing, and scheduling monthly reviews with customers and Government personnel. Extracting and compiling a variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc., processing data, identifying errors or inconsistencies, selecting methods of data presentation. Understands magnitude of requested work and integrates multiple functional service support organizations/ businesses toward meeting work order requests/requirements encompassing Real Property/Laboratory/Facilities repairs, maintenance, construction and or renovation. Routes work order requests to applicable responding organizations which are both internal and external to the Directorate. Informs COR of work in progress, work completed (hours), material cost, of all work orders completed as specified in the PWS. Informs COR of any required outages/or problems as foreseen relating to Real Property, Laboratory equipment, Utilities, and or the Facilities. Requirements Must have a High School Diploma Must have a valid driver's license Due to federal contracting requirements, applicant must be a US citizen Knowledgeable in working closely with Design Teams to create initial concepts of in- house fabrication projects. This includes: attending management meetings, acting as liaison between technical directorate and outside vendors, and modifying prototypes to ensure end products meet customer needs. Ability to analyze schematics/blueprints for construction of various test cells, builds to specifications while adhering to set timelines. Support laboratory Scientists and Engineers during implementation of all Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) projects.
