Job Summary:

The Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) Love Field Program Manager (PM) / Site Executive is responsible for providing guidance and oversight of the Operations Support Program at Raytheon’s Love Field site. This responsibility includes meeting financial commitments, exercising program management best practices, collaborating on Customer needs and managing all phases of program test implementation as well as support of customer personnel resident at the site. The Love Field PM is the primary Customer interface responsible for fostering and maintaining relations with a dynamic and demanding Customer community. In addition, the role provides leadership across the program team including cross-functional team members.

The Love Field PM is accountable to successfully execute ground and flight test in all phases of the business and maintain Customer satisfaction across numerous contracts. In addition, the Love Field PM is responsible to the RSS Vice President for the safe operation of the site as well as maintaining the security of the program.

The Site Executive responsibility includes maintaining a safe and secure working environment while working with other Love Field tenants and governing bodies to meet all applicable regulations.

**The selected candidate must have an Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.

*This is an onsite position located at our Lemon Avenue, Dallas, TX site.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Profit and loss accountability for assigned portfolio: executing the contract and meeting business financial goals, cost and schedule performance, risks and opportunities and strategies for program execution

  • Maintaining collaborative and responsive relationships within the product area and with functional support organizations

  • Establishing and growing working relationships with customers, subcontractors, industry partners, etc.

  • Growing relationships to help “shape” technical requirements and acquisition strategies as well as growing the business at the Love Field site

  • Interfacing with senior personnel across multiple DoD services and defense industry partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience

  • Program Management, Control Account Management, Integrated Product Team Lead experience or similar

  • Prior experience in the development, production, and sustainment life cycle

  • Prior experience with Program/Project Management

  • Prior experience in leading/mentoring teams directly and indirectly

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain special access

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of Radar Systems and/or similar technologies

  • Prior experience in program management techniques (full Profit & Loss responsibilities), working in a matrixed environment, customer engagement, proposals and growing the business

  • Proven demonstration of leadership competencies, especially influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and results

  • Raytheon Level 4 Program Management Certification (or equivalent experience)

  • Earned Value certification, including formal DoD reporting

  • Understanding of the military operations community and logistics support structures

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed .

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
