NiSource Real Estate Services System Administrator in Columbus, Ohio

Job Summary

The Real Estate Services System Administrator is responsible for implementation and support of the ServiceNow Real Estate Management System. The position is also responsible for the development, implementation, integration, and management of information systems and associated tools that support the NiSource portfolio. This position provides the critical data needed to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analyzes team performance, comparing against targets and benchmarks.

Essential Functions

  • Serves as the access control lead for the CMMS system, including design & execution of reports.

  • Coordinates input and maintenance of all information into CMMS system for each site.

  • Coordinates review of open preventive maintenance and client request work orders with Supervisors and Managers

  • Provides ad hoc reporting to the client/management team as required.

  • Develops common naming regimen and abbreviations for buildings, infrastructure equipment and systems.

  • Maintains and operates department vendor and landlord updates in the Ariba system with regular data management.

  • Sets up asset lists, property list & building maps, and coordinate annual reviews for accuracy

  • Provides support to the operating staff for quarterly updates and changes to preventive maintenance tasks and scheduled events.

  • Understands the overall business process and how accuracy of data is essential.

  • Trains personnel on the CMMS system and other systems utilized by Real Estate Services Team.

  • Works with the CMMS programmers to implement system updates.

  • Required Qualifications For Position

  • High School

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a data management and Customer Service environment

  • 1-3 years Technically proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite

  • 1-3 years Strong overall systems experience including solid understanding of CRM systems

  • Customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills High

  • Financial acumen with strong attention to detail coupled with excellent analytical skills Medium

  • Good organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize High

  • Logical thinker with good common sense High

  • Flexible and adaptable to policy changes and work flow High

  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently High

  • Strong business sense of competitive economic environment and a dedication to be competitive. Medium
