Google Strategy and Operations Lead, Global Clients and Agency in Chicago, Illinois

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in digital advertising and measurement/ROI (i.e. MMM).

  • Knowledge of our AI-powered ads products (VVC/VRC, PMax, Broad Match).

  • Ability to connect measurement to marketing or media ROI, and success working in a highly matrixed organization across multiple functions.

  • Operational accuracy with the ability to prioritize initiatives, drive progress, and adapt quickly across multiple workstreams.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Global Clients and Agency Solutions (GCAS) Product Strategy and Operations team, partners with GCAS Sales to build the product Go-To-Market strategy driving sustained business growth via adoption of AI-powered ads solutions and mature measurement foundations. We are a global team who partners with regional Go-To-Market (GTM), Global Product Solutions (GPS), and Sales to ensure our ads solutions help solve marketing challenges for the world’s largest advertisers and agencies.

In this role, you will build, lead, and execute measurement enablement programs that drive GCAS clients and agencies to measure and optimize performance on Google’s ads solutions. You'll collaborate closely with our GCAS sales teams (including analytical and measurement leads), regional GTM teams, and GPS to drive industry leading brand measurement solutions that support continued growth and prove the business value of our AI-powered solutions to our customers.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Build enablement plans and deploy GTM commercialization for brand, performance measurement excellence, and new solutions launches.

  • Drive our GCAS Measurement Plays focusing on Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and ROI, supporting GCAS sales in building measurement foundations for our advertisers.

  • Partner closely with regional GTM to ensure alignment in execution and activation on key multi-market initiatives.

  • Work with Google Product Solutions (GPS) and regional GTM to advocate for GCAS product requirements, drive innovation, and address clients' needs.

  • Drive sales enablement and education for GCAS measurement and AL communities.
