Synectic Solutions Inc Technician Hydra/SIWCS Radio in Charleston, South Carolina

This position provides financial support to programs in Charleston, SC. 

Primary Functions: 

  • Provide technical evaluations, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs of Depot Level Repairable (DLR), L3Harris Public Safety and Motorola mobile and portable communication systems.

  • Provide technical support to resolve Fleet Casualty Reports (CASREP’s).

  • Assist with maintaining and updating Bench Stock Repair Parts.

  • Assist with repair demand planning for Radio Program.

  • Provide onsite technical assistance/support to fleet activities.

  • Ensure compliance with Allowance Parts Lists.

  • Perform Beyond Economical Repair Analyses on Depot Level Repairable (DLR) material returned from fleet.

  • Possess working knowledge of Power Amplifiers, Repeaters, and Communications Systems.

  • Input daily repair log information using CMPro and MS Access databases.

  • Demonstrate expert experience using electronic test equipment such as (Signal Generators, Multimeters, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers).

  •  Conduct component level repair of radio system PCB assemblies, to include soldering.

    Education/Experience/Skills:

  • U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret Clearance 

  • High School diploma or GED.  Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.  Formal electronics training, to include Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.

  • Two (2) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout. Has the ability to independently troubleshoot complex analog and digital circuits.  The designees shall have at least 3 years of experience in SSEE installation, repair and overhaul.

  • Prior C4I technician with recent hands-on technical experience.

         

    All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
