Summary

Assemble Electronic components, subassemblies, Products and Systems.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Read and understand Work Orders, follow Production Drawings, sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.

Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in a jig, fixture, or other holding device.

Crimp, stake screw, bolt, solder, cement/glue press fit or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place.

Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, Integrated circuits (Chips) and sockets.

Connect components lead wires to Printed Circuit board (PCB) or route and connect between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.

Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in Cases, Consoles and Cabinets.

Assemble and/or attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies.

Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding curing stamping, etching, impregnating and color-coding parts and assemblies.

Operate machines that press, mark, drill, or wind component parts.

Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.

Temporary assignment to various ATEC facilities may be required as needed to support ATEC operations.

Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with CELTECH Inc. International Standards Organization (ISO9001) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

Be familiar with and understand CELTECH Inc.'s Quality Policy and company objectives.

Understand required ISO9001 specific Procedures and Work Instructions.

Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.

Participate in CELTECH Inc.'s Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate.

Participate in ISO9001 training as required.

Cooperate with Auditors.

Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 1 year of experience and/or training in a Manufacturing environment; or combination of education and experience.

Positive Performance Reviews (applies to internal personnel changes for current ATEC Inc. & subsidiary location employees).

Ability to perform Soldering of components to PCB Fabrication a plus.

Must be able to read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Demands

Employees are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Good eyesight by lenses if necessary.

Work Environment

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
