Req# 29088 Aultman Health Foundation, CANTON, OH AULTMAN HEALTH FOUNDATION Aultman Health Foundation Full Time, Day Shift, 7am-330pm PURPOSE OF POSITION The Skilled Tradesman II reports to the Director of Construction Services and is responsible for providing installation and support of electrical, construction, and painting in a construction setting. The position requires the ability to design, fabricate, and install millwork, and specialty furnishings. The position also requires the ability to perform light range tasks necessary for construction projects in other trades such as HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS Read prints regularly for both construction and electrical Assist in ensuring that the hospital's electrical equipment, installation, and repairs follow appropriate code Assist with installing or refreshing electrical systems during renovation projects Always strives to maintain and install work in a neat, organized, and efficient manner Responsible for assisting with upgrading lighting during renovation projects Serve as a resource for quoting projects specific to construction needs Manage, update, and control inventory of supplies Informs department of status of work or update on completion of work Responsible for designing and laying out of projects specific to construction work Responsible for demo and installation of all commercial flooring systems appropriate to codes and standards of construction Responsible for demo, layout, constructing, and installation of ceilings, walls, painting, and millwork appropriate to codes and standards of construction Assist in keeping sufficient inventory of building materials Assist in planning, organizing, and maintaining project schedules Ability to be a team player and work well with others Other Renovation duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements Minimum of 10 years construction experience preferred Minimum of 5 years prior healthcare work experience preferred Strong skills in both construction and electrical Ability to provide a high level of customer service Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to think strategically and efficiently High level of maturity to manage confidential information in a healthcare setting All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
