Summary

This role entails leading the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, offering technical expertise, and ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce projects. The incumbent will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, and administrators to craft scalable and sustainable Salesforce solutions.

This position will support our IT team and is eligible to work a remote schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design scalable and flexible Salesforce solutions based on business requirements in sales and Service Cloud.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

  • Create technical architecture and data models.

  • Provide technical guidance to development teams.

  • Review code and ensure adherence to best practices.

  • Architect and implement integrations with other systems.

  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems.

  • Establish and enforce development standards and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs.

  • Provide recommendations on Salesforce capabilities and limitations.

  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues.

  • Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential bottlenecks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including administrators and developers.

  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.

  • 10+ years of software development background with prior core Java experience

  • Proficiency in programming using Salesforce SFDC, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions.

  • Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, and implementing new instances of Salesforce.com from scratch.

  • Strong practical deployment knowledge of VisualForce, Flex, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, AppExchange deployment, and Salesforce.com s-controls.

  • Experience in SFDC development using Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Apex classes and Triggers, VisualForce, SOQL and SOSL

  • Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a CRM solution.

  • Additional Salesforce.com experience includes Workflow Alerts and Actions, and Approval Workflow.

  • Programming experience with the following languages, J2EE, HTML XML, SQL, Oracle.
