Phillips 66 Digital Area Coordinator in Borger, Texas

The Digital Area Coordinator is responsible for partnering with the business to implement value-enabling solutions. This position will facilitate the communication process between the Refinery Business Units and Major Projects in the region (including Refinery and Midstream assets). The individual selected must demonstrate a customer-first mentality, agile mindset, and proven skillset to resolve business challenges. Specifically, for the Borger area, there are currently Network Projects such as the Wireless Infrastructure Project, Fiber Upgrades both Refinery and Midstream, Camera Project Upgrades, Turnaround Support, Workflow Advancements and Analytical Data Opportunities.
This is a 2-3 year rotational role and will provide broad exposure to multiple business units, primarily Refining and Midstream. This position is located in Borger, TX. After successfully completing 2-3 years in this role, you will continue your career progression in a different role within Phillips 66. This developmental role will provide key experiences to prepare for future roles including business analyst, project manager, or other supervisory positions within IT.
Responsibilities May Include:
Provide reliable and efficient end user support for personal computing environments and critical business applications
Troubleshoot and mitigate build, application, and system performance issues
Build and maintain relationships with technical partners in the business
Coordinate resources and suppliers to complete projects and work requests
Partner with business users to implement business-enabling solutions which drive value generation
Local collaborator across global project teams to ensure proper alignment of IT solutions to business requirements as well as IT policies and procedures
Represent and advocate business interests to IT and IT interests and initiatives to the business
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure services meet customer needs
Resolve local service delivery issues and facilitate support of IT infrastructure
Optimize IT service delivery by improving reliability, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness of defined components of services
Facilitate documentation of local business requirements and technical specifications; Seek, recommend, and deliver cost effective value-add opportunities
Assist with IT budget development, forecasting, and reporting
Perform resource planning and management for local projects, verifying task and project assignments are completed to ensure effective delivery
Coordinate resources and suppliers to complete projects and work requests
Build customer-centered partnerships leveraging robust interpersonal skills
Ensure 24x7 operational excellence of key Refining systems
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
1 or more years of experience in Information Technology discipline
Willing and able to be clean shaven to comply with the refinery safety facial hair policy
Willing and able to provide day-to-day and after-hours support (24x7) as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of experience in Information Technology discipline
Knowledge of Phillips 66 Refining and Midstream businesses
Strong leadership skills
Able to work in a team environment focused on achieving results
