Role Overview:

The primary function of Facilities Manager is to ensure oversight of all facility management topics and proper maintenance requirements of the Beachwood, Ohio location; to ensure all aspects of the maintenance function to guarantee a safe working environment for all occupants.

Location: Beachwood, OH

Responsibilities:

· Provide technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and coordinate daily work activities and maintenance projects.

· Manage the repair, maintenance of the facility and its equipment while supporting administrative functions such as training, documentation, program/SOP development and execution.

· Manage/supervise capital project for the facility, be responsible for purchasing maintenance supplies, equipment and outside contractors as required.

· Ability to understand and develop simple specifications and written orders, meeting timelines, evaluations, and follow-up.

· Experienced in project management, contractor negotiations, conducting safety orientation, budgeting and problem solving.

· Must be able to work after/before hours in event of emergencies/weather events; being the first point of contact with building issues.

· Must be a self-starter who displays self-motivation and direction.

· Must be comfortable being responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance and first point of contact with building issues.

· Must be able to work alone with little or no supervision.

Position Requirements:

· Requires a minimum of three to five years of previous hands-on maintenance and site management experience.

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required; and/or additional technical

training.

• Must have the ability to understand and develop specifications and prepare external

and/or internally required documents.

• Must have experience in successfully managing projects and contractors, and

vendors; including budgeting, job oversight and problems solving, developing and

meeting timelines as well as evaluation and follow up.

• Must be experience or certified in HAVAC installation, repair, and maintenance

· Manage site Safe Work Permit system.

· Manage regulatory leadership responsibilities including Emergency Response coordination for site.

· Function as site representative for energy, waste, utility data collection programs.

· Manage the external maintenance of the building including snow removal, lawn care and other grounds related activities.
