GIS Application Administrator

Job Description

  • Administer and maintain the IBM Sterling Integrator environment, including installation, configuration, and upgrades of the software components.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes and enhancements to ensure optimal operation and availability.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients in the implementation and configuration of integration solutions using IBM Sterling Integrator.

  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand integration requirements and design appropriate solutions within the IBM Sterling Integrator framework.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system configuration, troubleshooting guides, and best practices, to support effective usage and knowledge sharing.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as monitoring system backups, applying patches and updates, and ensuring compliance with security standards and protocols.

  • Participate in testing activities, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing, to ensure successful deployment of integration solutions.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization within the IBM Sterling Integrator environment.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in B2B integration technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization's integration needs.

Qualifications

  • Good hands-on knowledge on Security aspects (SSL, TLS, Encryption, Certificates etc.)

  • Good Knowledge on network infrastructure

  • Knowledge of LINUX Operating Systems including storage

  • Strong expertise Performing analysis of root causes.

  • Strong experience in administering and supporting IBM Sterling Integrator, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

  • In-depth knowledge of B2B integration concepts, protocols, and standards such as EDI, AS2, SFTP, and FTP.

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancing, to ensure smooth integration flow.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
