Responsible for Supervising employees and assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities of Housekeeping. Directs and works with employees to ensure property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Completes inspections of guest rooms, public areas, etc. after being cleaned to ensure quality standards are met and holds people accountable for corrective action. Run room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve any issues and complete required paperwork. Assists management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
