Job Responsibilities

Bargaining Unit Clerk

Duties as needed but not limited to use of computer, scanner, calculator, telephone, copy/fax machines and other duties as assigned. Pay rate is $13.25 per hour.

  • Payroll – calculating timecards and keying into payroll system

  • Assist with payroll reconciliation

  • Document filing

  • Install new and preowned units (fleet)

  • Pull plates/ File plates

  • Package all plates

  • Pay bills for all new units

  • Payroll adjustments

  • Dates all checks

  • Research payroll errors

  • Register cars in NY and CT

  • Surrender units in NY and CT

  • Scanning of Documents

  • Installation paperwork for new cars

  • Vehicle Deletions

  • Salvage

  • Reports

  • DMV work and package

  • Strong organizational skills and have the ability to multitask in a busy office

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-starter, follows directions and meets deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Strong Customer Service Skills, internal and external

  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook E-mail, Faxing/Scanning

  • Communicates concerns and/or questions to supervisor promptly

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required

  • High School Diploma/GED
