Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Sr. Service Delivery Manager to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing and de-conflicting maintenance activities

  • Responding to outages and providing outage reporting/orchestration for Application SMEs

  • Working with internal and external customers to understand and respond to each unique need

  • Understand the mission of the system and be able to identify critical paths in the operations

  • Understand the data flow and be able to identify points of ingest and egress for data flow

  • Engaged with upcoming software and application releases to assist with Release Management tasks to meet customer and stakeholder’s requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Full life cycle experience, responsible for the development of a complete set of architectural views for large number systems in accordance with one of the more common architecture frameworks

  • Must be a strong leader with solid interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to support work schedule that aligns with the Lead. Generally, this will run from 0700 to 1700 local time

  • Must be available to provide on-call and after hours support

  • Must be able to inquire with Technical and Non-Technical staff about specific requirements

  • Must be able to adapt to requirements and changes in mission focus

  • Must be able to work and communicate daily with Lead and customer management at various technical and organizational levels

  • Knowledge of cloud concepts in relation to Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) and Platform as a Service (PAAS)

  • Awareness of systems management and operational support tools and security and/or infrastructure experience

Education Qualification:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline with 7 or more years related professional experience

Certification Qualification:

  • SAFe Certification, preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading teams of diverse technical subject matter experts

  • Experience in software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development

  • ITIL 4 Foundation

  • Experience or fundamental understanding with the following technologies:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux

  • Red Hat OpenShift

  • VMware

  • Windows Operating Systems

  • Microsoft SQL Database

  • Oracle Database

  • SolarWinds

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship and an active DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an agency specific suitability clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Up to 10% travel may be required per year

  • Must be able to type

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentation.

  • This position supports an IT operations environment. All employees should expect to support work on nights and weekends and may be included in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

The projected compensation range for this position is $122,600-$204,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
