Our client is in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Jr. Executive Accountant to become an integral part of their team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation in accounting principles and practices, demonstrating proficiency in accurately and efficiently managing financial records. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the seamless operation of our office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other account analysis to ensure accuracy

  • Pull commission statements and compile monthly commission reporting

  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking

  • Support the Sponsorship tracking and payment process

  • Data entry

  • Track company equipment provided to employees

  • Sort and scan mail

  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed

  • Support the finance team where needed

  • Complete special projects upon request of Accounting Manager

     

Skills:

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

  • Ability to multitask and function effectively in a dynamic environment

     

Requirements

  • Bookkeeping experience or the completion of some college level accounting classes is required
